R. Brett Short

Brett Short has over thirty years of experience in healthcare. Nearly twenty of those years have been in healthcare compliance. In addition to being Chief Compliance Officer, Brett is a board member of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics & Health Care Compliance Association and a faculty for the HCCA Privacy Academy and a board member on the Compliance Certification Board and test-writing committee.
An outside expert to the Audit and Compliance Committee to the UC Health Board. Experience includes: Compliance, Privacy, Clinical Administration in health care as well as a not-for-profit free-clinics board member. Previous experience in health care includes: behavioral health, dentistry, substance abuse, rehabilitation, physician practice, hospitals, and health-plans.
